DryLog Trading was formed in February of 2020 following the acquisition of the freight trading business of ED & F Man by DryLog Ltd.

Founded in 1983, ED & F Man freight, had consistently been one of the most respected and trusted operators in the geared bulker segments and were a complimentary fit to DryLog Ltd.’s existing portfolio and business approach.

DryLog Trading has dedicated teams in London and Singapore offering freight and commercial solutions to customers worldwide.

Today, DryLog Trading typically maintains a fleet of between 35 and 45 vessels, performs about 250 voyages per year, carrying about 12 million mts of commodities globally including; Agris, coal, petcoke, salt, scrap and industrial materials such as clinker and gypsum.

With a major focus on the Atlantic basin, DryLog Trading has a varied client base including relationships with all major commodities traders, shipowners and trading houses and aims to be a first class partner to charterers and owners in optimising their freight trading needs.

Proactive risk management is of great importance to DryLog Trading. Utilizing a combination of physical and financial instruments, market and credit risk is constantly monitored and managed.
